Virtual Properties Realty was founded in 1999 by mother and son partners Karen Burks and Steve Wagner. Both Steve & Karen received their Georgia Real Estate licenses in 1989 and have been working together as a team ever since. The reason they started their new real estate company was because they were tired of paying the excessive monthly fees that they had been paying to RE/MAX for over 10 years. They felt they could form a “more perfect real estate company” where superior agent training, caring ongoing broker support, and low monthly fees were possible. Virtual Properties continues to seek a leadership roll in the implementation of the trends that will shape the future of the real estate industry.

Karen and Steve pride themselves on being unlike any other real estate firm in the Atlanta area. Superior technique, technology, systemization and efficiency are just a few reasons why Virtual Properties has attracted many professional Realtors to their firm. Most of all, though, Virtual Properties has succeeded through integrity, continual agent training and 24/7 broker support. Even with almost 700 agents, the dedicated caring staff and brokers have managed to maintain the human element with every person that comes into their office. The company goal is to never become so large that the agents feel like they are just a number.

Virtual Properties got its name because it was the first Atlanta Real Estate firm to place properties on photographic 360 degree tours around Atlanta. Virtual Properties, as the name might indicate, employs the industry’s most sophisticated Realtors - both in regards to character and technical expertise.
